May 30, 2004 - Tour of Montreal, stage race in Canada - 2nd place in stage 1 time trial (TT), René-Lévesque Park - Lachine.

June 17, 2004 - National Championships, USA - 3rd place in the time trial (TT), Redlands California.

August 8, 2004 - Sparkassen Giro, Germany - 1st place, Bochum (Nordrhein-Westfalen-Allemagne).

August 8, 2004 - Sparkassen Giro, Germany - 1st place in the climbing competition overall.

August 8, 2004 - Sparkassen Giro, Germany - 2nd place in the sprints competition overall.

August 18, 2004 - Olympic Games, Greece - 2nd place in the time trial (TT), Athens.
