Part - 1

This was the first time the race was held in Raymond, an old town with a lot of rich history dating back to the gold rush days. There isn't much in Raymond today, just a store really, but there is a unique world famous granite factory which does a brisk business for buildings which call for large blocks of granite. The road race was held in Sunny warm temps with a bit of overcast in the morning, but all went well for the day for the most part, except one crash in the women's race I was aware of. The women said it was a very hard course, and I was there on the big climbs taking video, so I know it was hard as Webcor and T-Mobile led up the climbs.
