I have been working with friends in the Czech organizations for a number of years, so it was only natural that we could stike up a friendship and work together to present Gracia Orlova in the most compelling way possible. While only race reports are lacking from this grand showcase, those are easily accessible from any number of sources which run the reports on various sites worldwide. Check the women's news feed of April for those stage reports. The photos speak for themselves.
These photos were edited and enhanced digitally by Procyclingwomen.com to bring out the best in each photo, and only the best photos were selected for the album. The original photos were punchy and sharp, meaning their colors can be quite sharp, so naturally this album was done with color in mind. When enhanced those colors were part of the balancing act, and while some seem very sharp and colorful, that was obviously the format to follow when applying global adjustments. These were editied from 100 JPG, not RAW. They were edited, adjusted for color, noise and sharpness. In the end, very nice indeed. I hope you enjoy them!
Many thanks to Jan Kondziolka for his great work at Gracia Orlova in sharing these with the world and giving us a great window into the Czech Republic. Congrats to the winner Marianne Vos on her 2nd win at Gracia Orlova, 2008 and 2010. Thanks to all the work that the Czech Republic and the various cycling organizations did to put on this great race. I hope this race will endue for some time to come.

Jan Kondziolka is a first rate professional photography who I have been very happy to work with since last year. His work in the field is not only keen and compelling, but he has been able to gain access and capture some brillant shots over the years which are quite commendable. While his passion for photography covers many areas, he has always been faithful to capture Gracia Orlova which runs exclusively in his neighborhood.
