This is one of the best shots I was lucky enough to ever take. I got the depth of field right with the composition, which brings both Mara and the mountains into focus, not easy to do often. Mara looking totally awesome too, she climbs like a deer! Notice the stars and stripes of the national champion, she radiates professional through and through! Mara might be the next pure climber right up there with Luperini and Emma Pooley, only time will tell, but she's off to good climbing start this year!
